Allen Michael performs classical guitar music on the electric guitar. Previously known only to elite aficionados in conservatories across Europe and the Americas, Allen saw an opportunity to introduce beautiful and old compositions in an entirely new electric style and to a radically different audience. His unique presentation, informed approach and curated programs have enjoyed a word-of-mouth performing schedule for private house concerts, lounges and theaters.
A consummate lover of knowledge and beauty, Allen has earned degrees and graduate-level training in English literature, rhetoric and classical guitar performance. Combined with an early love of rock & roll records, teenage rebellion and electric guitar jams, Allen has crafted a new approach to the performance of vintage classical music on the electric guitar. Allen frequently performs in intimate settings to a captivated and receptive audience.
